Oklahoma's longest running alternative education program provides one-year funding to alternative education programs in the state. The purpose of this program is to provide a district with the needed startup funds to design and implement an alternative education program. Most programs in this competition are alternative schools, classrooms, or night schools. The following school districts/programs received funding for 2001-2002:
