Pryor Alternative School

DOG-GONE GOOD IDEA.  When students at Pryor's Alternative School found out that evacuees at Camp Gruber did not need any further clothing, personal items, toys, or shoes, they talked about what else they might do to help and decided to send relief to the refugees' pets.  Mayes County Feed and Pryor Feed donated seven large bags of dog and cat food, and students donated several cans of dog food, bones, treats, collars, leashes, bowls and toys.  The items were sent with National Guard soldiers to Gruber.  Coming up with the great idea were students Shane Headrick, Kirby Smoke, Misty Harrison, Summer Jones, Jamie Martin, Baylee Mason and Mrs. Madole.
